Rose City SHRM - September Chartering Meeting

What a fantastic day! Rose City SHRM had a special meeting with MANY special guests.

Mayor Martin Heines declared today "HR Professionals Day" in Tyler.

Sherry Johnson from SHRM performed the chartering ceremony for the board and shared the presentation: "The HR Professional Competency Model:  A Roadmap for Success". Active Shooter Response in the Workplace has become an increasing concern for employers as well as employees. Mark has been a trainer for many years in local schools, governments and employers.

Monthly Meeting - July 28th

Yesterday Rose City SHRM hosted our 2nd monthly meeting for members here in Tyler. Turn out was again fantastic with 51 attendees joining us to learn about Unemployment in Texas.
